CVD Diamond Technology
Growing the future of diamonds, atom by atom
Chemical Vapor Deposition
Chemical Vapor Deposition represents the frontier of diamond technology. In our CVD facility, we recreate the conditions that form diamonds in nature — but with absolute precision and control.
A thin diamond seed is placed in a vacuum chamber. Hydrogen and methane gases are introduced, and microwave energy breaks these gases into their constituent atoms. Carbon atoms deposit onto the seed crystal, building a diamond layer by layer, atom by atom.
The result is a diamond identical in every physical, chemical, and optical property to a natural diamond — with the added advantage of complete traceability and zero environmental impact from mining.
